This is a crowded park with tight gravel spaces. They are narrow, maybe 6' between my slide and the neighbors slide. A bit tough to get in and out of as well. It is convenient to I-20 though, so not too bad for an overnight stay.
The staff was friendly, but the park is pretty old. There are small roads to get to the park and it is actually a bit tight getting into and out of the parking area. The pad we used is in bad shape, not very level and is broken in many spots. On the positive side, it is very quiet and very low cost place to stay.
This is a great place to stay. The only complaint I have is that my cell phone did not have good coverage (Sprint PCS). They have a nice park for the kids and nice hiking/biking trails. They don't take reservations so if you are staying the weekend, try to get there by Thursday. Also, you pay at the site, they will come around in a golf cart, so just drive in and find you spot.
